Kieran Mulroney
Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, WESTERN AUSTRALIA, Australia

Dr Kieran Mulroney is an early career research fellow focusing on the development of personalised precision pathology techniques for clinical microbiology. Based out of the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research in Perth, Western Australia, his doctoral research focused on using advanced phenotypic flow cytometry to understand previously intractable microbiology challenges for patients suffering serious infections related to renal dialysis. His current career interests focus on antimicrobial resistance, developing new diagnostic tests to deliver precision medicine to patients with serious infections, developing and simplifying cytometry workflows to remove the need for expert users, and translating new diagnostic research methods into practice.
